Hey guys, I posted a while back that 40d was forever buffering. Now it buffers for a few secs and says to disable my adblock to view it. TV catchup is the same. I’m not sure which one it means I have a few on Firefox. I tried disabling 0.7.7 adblocker and TV catch up still said I had an adblocker. ITV player works and that has ads (like every 5 mins).

You can add it to your Firefox right from that page.

If that message came up when clicked Add Adblock Warning Removal List to Adblock Plus then you have not got Adblock Plus installed in Firefox.
You can get it through the Mozilla plugins.
OK I thought I had that- got it added, and went back and ticked the List. Does that mean 40d will work now?
Unlikely … I disabled Adblock Plus which got rid of the Ad blocker warning … bt I still get the “Digital Rights error (3322)”

Try it yourself … if you can’t figure out which adblocker is the problem, start \firefox with all extensions disabled:
firefox --safe-mode
Then click “Start Firefox in safe mode”
Will that then show which one 40d doesn’t like? It’s a bit of a faff isn’t it! 40d used to play fine- I mean itvplayer plays. the problem lies with 40d I reckon.

40d is a right nuisance! It used to be so good- loaded up quickly, no ads. Why do they change things and make them rubbish!!

Thanks Mark- I can look those conductors up on you tube- got a couple on CD anyway. I suppose it is a bit geeky of me to want to hear how those opening notes are played differently lol.
I just tried 4OD on firefox and it is working as normal…that is buffering for about 5 mins before the program started.
Have noticed that the site has problems at certain days of the week and times of day I think they need more bandwidth.
No problem with adblockers.
Well it used to buffer for me longer than that Tramlink, then it always says adblocker is on even when I’ve disabled the lot.
Did using firefox in safe mode sort out the problem?

No, not done safe mode yet as not been on 40d. Next time I look I shall try it.I am doing loads of online courses at the moment, so not got mch time for watching vids.
