Looks like we’re breaking a few records this month … we hit 153 concurrent users on the site at one point (which is a record) and we’re on-track to beat our page views/month record. Wonder how much of that is down to Windows 8 …

That is quite revealing. The fact that 35% of all visits are from Windows machines, on a Linux forum is quite telling.
Though the figures might be a slightly distorted, cause I have accessed this forum from a windows machine from time to time. :-[
Perhaps it would be a good idea to monitor this from time to time, as more and more unsuspecting MS customers are coming in contact with the new incarnation of the OS.

I have to access the forum from a Windoze machine when I am at work. Although as a software developer that develops for linux platforms I am forced to work on Windoze. My old peppermint machine was taken away :(…what is the world coming to!
Unfortunately I have to use Windows in work as well… even so the amount of Windows users visiting is very good…
