Dose anyone know of a reliable ebay snipe tool that works on Ubuntu. Dose anyone use them?

I personally do not use them. Are you looking for one to install locally or one which runs remotely?
If the latter then have you tried Goofbid? It is free.

I don’t even know what a “snipe” tool is :o

But I’d be interested to know how you get on.

I was looking for a local install tool. I do not like the idea of another site knowing what I am trying to buy. They will just sell the info to as many others as they can.

I suggest you to use an on-line sniper that doen not need to install a program on your computer. For example I use www.snippys.net, and it works for ebay and delcampe auctions websites.
