Installing Bittorrentsync

This evening I’ve been trying to install bittorrentsync on my laptop running PM3 but it’s just not happening I downloaded the tar.gz from here http://labs.bittorrent.com/experiments/sync/other-download.html extracted the file and followed the instructions as per the website but nothing happens I tried both Linux x86 versions and neither of them work, both give this output when I try to install from the terminal

graeme@Linux-Laptop ~ $ ./btsync
BitTorrent Sync forked to background. pid = 6110
graeme@Linux-Laptop ~ $

any help would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Graeme

After you run that command did you try to access the WebUI
is the default way of accessing BitTorrent Sync. It can be reached at:
YourLocalIP:8888/gui
As instructed here.

The Linux version uses a webUI … in your web browser, enter:
http://localhost:8888/gui
(or click that link)

The manual is here:
http://btsync.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/BitTorrentSyncUserGuide.pdf

As SeZo says, you can also replace “localhost” with the IP of the machine bittorentsync is running on.

“localhost” will only work on the local machine.
