Linpus -- Webcam - Ucview Problem

Hello Linux community,

First of all sorry for my bad English. But I have a problem with my web cam. If I call the ucview, the program is indeed loaded, but where I should laugh at my reflection,is just to see a gray-white screen.
Ucview is installed in version 0.16-8lp.i386 and unicap in version 0.9.3-1.fc8.i386

lsusb tells me that the camera is detected:

[User @ localhost ~] $ lsusb
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 064E: d101 Acer Crystal Eye webcam
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

If I call on the webcam with ucview, I get the following messages:
[User @ localhost ~] $ ucview

Oddly, the webcam works, whenever I run Firefox or Compiz manager in parallel. In this case, the terminal spits out the following data:

For parallel Firefox:

Thank you for your efforts,

Zagreus.

Aren’t any of these available in the Linpus package manager instead ?

luvcview
or
guvcview
or
cheese

Thanks for your your answer.
I already installed cheese. But it just shows a small picture and runs very, very slow. It seems as it would record a picture every 5 seconds.
Luvcview and guvcview on the other hand aren’t included in the package manager.
