Merry Christmas
[size=30pt]and a Happy New Year

From everyone at Linux.co.uk
and Linuxforums.org.uk

bump.

I guess not enough Christmas Spirit is going around.

Merry Christmas to all

Oops … I didn’t mean the “bump” to come across like that :-[

It was just meant to keep the message at the top of the front page (portal).

Anyway … right back at ya SeZo … Merry Christmas

You should be able to “pin” the item to the top of the list … I forget how tho’ …

Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2

If you can, I can’t figure it out ???

You can pin it to the top of the “forum” list (which I’ve done) … but not (as far as i can tell) the “recent topics” list on the portal.

Ahh, Ok, misunderstood … could edit the DB and enter a future date against that article ??

Up to you … I’m happy to keep moving the bump till after the new year

Merry Christmas to all

Hope santa brings you the distro boot disks you all asked for

A Merry Christmas to all and a big thank you for all the help and advice

Graeme

Seasons Greetings to all members and thanks for all the help.

Please ignore this bump … it’s only to keep this topic at the top of the “Recent Posts” box on the forum front page (portal) … I suppose I could add it to one of the other static boxes, but I’m betting they don’t get read as much

I know Scotsmen (and possibly Irishmen) are going to hate me for this, but I’ve come to the conclusion that “Jack Daniel’s Original Recipe Tennessee Honey” is the finest liquid (Whiskey Liqueur) on this planet, bar non.

I’m off to the shops tomorrow, just to make sure it wasn’t a one-off … actually it may take a few more bottles to be sure I won’t tire of it

There’s a distinct possibility I’ve discovered my next hobby/habit, so if my responses become more erratic from now on you’ll understand why.

PS. thank f**k for spell checkers

Mark when it comes to the Linux kernal you are second to none but you obviously know f**k all about whiskey

As I said, I knew I’d upset a Scot or two … but have you tried the new “Honey” Jack Daniel’s ?

I know what my taste buds tell me … and from my point of view that’s more important than any book or whiskey distilling tradition

Hmm, this was the Christmas Spirit I was talking about ;D

Well you can’t argue with your taste buds Mark that’s true, I only tried Jack Daniels once and it was dreadful didn’t taste at all like whiskey (at least not my idea of whiskey) but what’s in a name if you enjoy it what the hell

It’s not Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey I’m raving about … it’s the new Jack Daniel’s Tennessee “Honey Liqueur” … same square bottle, but with a cream coloured label instead of the black one.

It’s not and doesn’t claim to be a “pure” Whiskey, which should please you Scots … it’s a honey liqueur …

Tastes like honey with a whiskey type bite/kick … it’s kinda hard to get across, it tastes enough like whiskey for you to know there’s a whiskey in there, but with a honey flavour that somehow makes it “feel” thicker (like honey) in the mouth, and as you’d expect it’s a tad sweeter than whiskey … damn stuff is pure genius.

I’ll shut up now, as I’m starting to sound like an advert.
