Upgrading from Beta (SOLVED)

Hi guys

I installed Lubuntu 14.04 beta 2 on a spare drive to have a look at a 14.04 release, the final release is now out, so my question is can I upgrade to the final release or would I have to reinstall ?

I’m not sure of the procedure, but the following should do it:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

UNLESS the repos are different, but I’m pretty sure they are the same between beta and release

Just update with the Software Updater … effectively does what chemicalfans command does.

That’s all you need to do.
