Using single click in Peppermint Two

Ok, I’ve looked and looked and for the life of me I cannot find where the setting for one click or tap opening. Any suggestions welcome.

Go to Menu>File Manager … when the file manager opens, go to Edit>Preferences … then on the “General” tab, put a tick in “Open files with a single click” … and click “Close”.

Done

You must think I’m really thick. :-[

Cheers

Nope … took me a while to find it the first time

…and while we are talking about Peppermint…

I have set the screen lock to come in at 2 min’s but it wont. Ubuntu 10.04 had a password screen that worked with the screen saver. Peppermint does not seem to have it ( I think).

Any clues?

I don’t know if it’s possible to get the screen to lock as the screensaver comes on, but I’ll see what I can find.

Meanwhile, if you need to lock your screen … there is a menu item at Menu>System Tools>ScreenLock … you could always add that to the desktop for easier access.

Thanks

Just added shortcut to screen. That will probably be OK for me

OK, I won’t bother trying to get it to work with the screensaver then … let me know if you’d like me to try.

[EDIT]

You could have it as a button on your panel instead of on the desktop if you’d prefer (next to the shutdown button by the clock, or instead of the shutdown button)?

I’ll just stick with the shortcut.

Thanks
