Volume control Icon deleted( doh!)

As above by accident but can’t find it to put it back on the top panel.

Right-click an empty area of the panel, choose Add to Panel, select “Indicator Applet”, click “Add”.

If you need to move it, right-click it and select “Move” then move your mouse sideways… once it is where you want it, right-click it again, and select “Lock To Panel”.

it will not MOVE ‘through’ icons that are locked to the panel, so you may need to unlock some.

Or to completely set the panels back to default:

mv ~/.gconf/apps/panel ~/.gconf/apps/panel-old

Then log off and on again, or reboot.
