My you tube has gone weird.
Tried to re set it but cannot figure it out! I don’t know why it went like this. Any ideas/tips please guys?

I only see it blanked off at the top, is that the problem ?
Hmm … I think I may see the problem … the video appears to go off the left of screen, where normally there’s a pop-in/out toolbar to the left of the video.
Have you tried disabling any plugins ?
and/or clearing the browser cache … then restarting the browser ?

No, as I don’t know what plug ins would be causing the problem Mark.

As with pretty much all IT problems you need to be methodical and rule things “out”…
Disable them all … re-enable them one at a time until the problem reoccurs … then ditch the last one you enabled
(Be sure to close ALL web browser windows and restart thee browser between any changes)
My youtube has now gone exactly the same in Firefox … so Google/Youtube must be doing away with the sidebar.
The video isn’t “off the edge of screen” … it’s just starting EXACTLY at the edge of the Firefox window, but when maximised Firefox doesn’t display window decorations (besides the titlebar)
Oh that is useful to know Mark- my add ons and plug ins had nothing to do with it- had not changed anything and one day I went on you tube and it looked like this. I would rather they changed it back- it doesn’t look good.
I suppose we’ll have to get used to it :o
Yes, they obviously think it looks better, but it does not.
