Wireless Card - TP link

Hi All

Im trying to sort out the Wireless Card - TP link. I cant seem to load the driver from their website. Does any one know what would be best for a TP Link 54 bps TL WN550G PCI Adaptor?

Can you open a terminal and run the following commands, and post the output back here:

lspci | grep Subsystem

and

sudo lshw -C network

and

ifconfig

and

sudo iwlist scanning

and

rfkill list

and remember, Linux commands ARE case sensitive.

Just to give you confidence, Will, I bought the following TP-Link products:
TP-Link TD-W8960N Wireless Router-Modem
TP-Link TL-WN822N 300MBPS Wireless N USB Adapter
The adapter failed after a few minutes and the router failed slowly over two months or so - I was blaming BT, since the wireless bit worked, but my spare modem works fine.
Thought that would cheer you up!
